Kerem Ta: A refuge for children in the Mercado de la Merced

In 2013, the Mercado de la Merced suffered a fire that consumed more than 70% of the main hall. Hundreds of families lost their assets and, to this day, have not recovered them. In the midst of the tragedy, a project emerged that sought to provide care, support, and shelter to the most vulnerable population in the market: children.
