Final del 2º Concurso de Canción Feminista
Tras la revisión de más de 50 propuestas, por segunda ocasión se llevará a cabo el concurso de canción feminista, misma que se refiere a cualquier tipo de género musical que incluya sonido y letra, cuya narrativa o lírica impulsen, acompañen, hagan eco o representen los diferentes temas de las diversas luchas feministas, con la idea de convocar a la ciudadanía para unirse a esta lucha global, cuya única finalidad es alcanzar la paz. ¡¡Acompáñanos en este festejo al feminismo y a sus voces!
En colaboración con la Casa del Lago UNAM, Cátedra Extraordinaria Rosario Castellanos de Arte y Género, Radio UNAM, Libros UNAM, Facultad de Música y SIPAM a través de Violeta Radio.

José Areán

José Areán
Orchestra Conductor. He studied at the National School of Music (now the Faculty of Music) of the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and graduated with honors from the Vienna Conservatory. He was artistic director of the Bellas Artes Opera from 2007 to 2009. In the field of opera, he has worked with Francisco Araiza, Ramón Vargas, Rolando Villazón, Javier Camarena, and María Katzarava. From 2005 to 2016, he was associate conductor of the Minería Symphony Orchestra, and from 2011 to 2016, he was principal guest conductor and artistic director of the Mexico City Philharmonic, where he was recognized as an original and contemporary programmer and conductor. He has performed in Germany, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Switzerland. He has worked with soloists such as Irvine Arditti, Philippe Quint, Sarah Chang, Valentina Lisitsa, Giora Feidman, and Joaquín Achúcarro, among others. He was artistic and general director of the Mexico City Historic Center Festival between 2002 and 2007.
