Loki

A contemporary dance group formed by Myrna de la Garza Brena in 1992, MdMar's creative work has maintained a constant concern for reflecting on the quality of the bond that connects human beings with each other, with other living beings, and with the planet. The choreographic works incorporate humor and abstraction as cross-cutting elements, as well as the use of original music, and promote an eco-socially sensitive awareness. Since its inception, MdMar has participated in various national and international dance and multidisciplinary seasons and festivals linking science and art. It boasts a broad repertoire of choreographies and dance videos.
